Transport to Treatment Service

Fuller Sports Club is proud to support Cancer Council Queensland’s initiative Transport to Treatment.

Fuller Sports Club first became a part of the initiative in 2018. Each year, Fuller provides cash support to cover the operating costs of a vehicle that allows volunteers to transport cancer patients easily to and from their treatments.

Over the last 3 years, the Transport to Treatment Service has provided invaluable support to the Cairns community, transporting over 91 patients, travelling a total of 3,507 trips and 35,000kms.

At the 2020 Club QLD Awards for Excellence, Brothers Leagues Club was honoured with the ‘Health and Well-being’ Community Award for Cancer Council Queensland’s ‘Transport to Treatment Service.’

We are proud to announce that Fuller Sports Club has also started supporting a second vehicle in 2020 and will continue to help cancer patients in our community during their time of need.

However, this wonderful service wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of our members, community, and our club’s teams. Thank you everyone for your continued support.
