Brothers Cairns and ARC Disability Services provide opportunities to participants in Rugby League Engagement Program

Brothers Cairns are proud partners with ARC Disability Services, a community based organisation with a long history in the Cairns and Far North, supporting children and adults who have a disability to reach their individual goals with support from their families and support networks.

In 2020/2021, Brothers Cairns have worked with ARC Disability Services to provide participants in the ARC programs access to our Brothers World of Entertainment Rugby League engagement program. The program offers coaching sessions to the local disabled community to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of participants.

The results of this program, hosted by Tim Rumford and Jordan Biondi-Odo, have been fantastic! So much so that we now have our very own All abilities Rugby League players who played an exhibition game this year. This was a highlight for the players as well as ARC Disability Services and Brothers Cairns.

The program has high hopes for the All Abilities Rugby League team coming into 2022. Well done to everyone involved in this great program, we look forward to seeing it progress!

If you know of a community group or school who would like to get involved in our All Abilities Rugby League Program, please get in contact with Tim or Jordan, see details below.
